DiManEx closes $2.7 Million in funding to scale its Digital Supply Platform
DiManEx is proud to announce that we have closed a new funding round totaling $2.7 million. This is a momentous step forward in our mission to revolutionize manufacturing supply chains. Housed in the inspirational co-working space of incubator UtrechtInc, DiManEx created a platform that supports the digitization of production processes and the optimization of supply chains. Unlike an open market place, we provide a dedicated cloud-based service that connects customers to a vetted network of additive manufacturing partners. Industrial parts are delivered on-demand with the click of a button, bringing virtual stock within reach of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other parts-intensive companies. With the funds raised, will be able to extend our product in order to service a fast-growing customer base.
Our mission is to revolutionize manufacturing supply chains the same way e-commerce has transformed retail. Our SaaS service helps you identify which parts in your supply chain are eligible for 3D printing, and then matches and allocates your order to the right supplier before delivering to your doorstep. This can help you dramatically reduce unnecessary inventory and its associated overhead costs, enhance customer service, as well as improve your environmental footprint.
Funding partners Marisan & Partners BV and La Terza SARL are impressed by what our team has achieved these past two years. They share our conviction that additive manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing techniques will be a disruptive force, driving the re-imagination of supply chains. Our development efforts are further supported by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs through an innovation credit scheme. “We are convinced that we can change the supply chain universe, making use of the disruptive impact of platform-based digital business,” said Tibor van Melsem Kocsis, founder and CEO. “We’ve only seen the beginning of the impact additive manufacturing will have on industrial supply chains across the globe. This funding round will help us scale and further enable our customers to print any part, anywhere in the world, with the simple click of a button.”
